Exclamation 2002 Mirage Engine Swap

Hello,
My name is Daniel i own a 2002 mirage DE i loved this car untill the engine blew so now its sittin in my yard i would love too turn this into an awesome tuner , no one around my town even has or seen one so i am preety excited about it anyways i just have the stock 1.5 what engine should i buy for it thats not too much money and does not need too much mods too install?

Firstly, you have to tell me, what motor do you have now is it a SOHC or a DOHC, If its a SOHC it will be 87 BHP and replacing the head with a DOHC will mean a instant jump to 107 BHP in the naturally aspirated form, you can then add a filter, plugs and Free flow which will take the over all gain to 115 BHP. If you need to go further, then go for a turbo with 7-8 PSI boost this will take the over all output to 130-135 BHP range.

If you want more then go for a 1.6 Mivec plant which is bolt on. A MIVEC puts 170 BHP in the stock form. get a Turbo and you could go above 250BHP.

If you still power hungry get a 400 BHP eclipse twin turbo. With all these you need better breaks, If you select the first option then you can slowly evolve your ride.
