Hello, does it look this tie rod end is bad and could be causing the knocking noise in the front end? Thanks

 

Had knocking in my suspension only heard after exiting right turn. Mechanic discovered there is a half-inch diameter pin connecting control arm to sway bar that had sheared off (250,000km). My issue was only $270 repair, in and out in one day.
Under what conditions is it knocking, be exact, can help service techs figure it out.
