Default Is it a good deal?

Well just to introduce my self my name is Isaias, I currently drive a 99 Ford Mustang 3.8 that I love, but unfortunately with these gas prices I'm being forced to ditch the Mustang and try to find a V4 with decent gas millage. So here it goes.

I'm being offered a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant, Automatic, 130k, 4 Doors, Great Interior, CD Player, Clean Title, Registration until FEB/2009, Already Smoged. The guy wants $1500.00

Here some pictures.

Is it a good deal?
Thanks for all your help!

$600 under good condition.. You better ask the guy for sure whats wrong with it.. I dont know how much it costs to have a mechanic check it out, or if you have a buddy thats one, you might want to invest in that.. You automatically got to factor in: Timing belt (unless its a chain), transmission oil change, radiator fluid change, probably an oil change (unless indicated), have the brakes looked at, possibly new tires(?), etc... If its private party, ask them if you could look at the maintenance records.. Also, irregardless of clean title (those can be washed), download a diagram of where the vins will be on that model, and check all the vin numbers.. I'd do a carfax also.. Check all the seals around the trunk and doors.. People who keep maintenance records on their car, generally take care of their car the best.. Trust me, I have a huge file cabinet with maintenance records.. Good luck and I hope that helps!
