Okay i have '96 mirage type S....
Long story short... the car ran fine.....My papaw unplugged a wire, he says was the igniton coil wire... and well now i cant find the coil...
My ? is...
Where is the ignition coil located on this model? and is it connected VIA a wire from the center of the distributor?
Starter is turning over, and it is getting power all through the engine except no power at plugs and no spark is being generated.....

 

you got lied to my friend!! the coil is built into the distributor on that year model. older 89-92 models had a separate coil. sounds like he doesnt want you to drive it. look at the wiring very closely. he unplugged one of the connectors. there are 2 connectors on that distributor. good luck!!
