Could someone please post a picture of the the underneath of your hood to show the windshield washer hoses to show how they are routed on a 1999 Eclipse? I had to replace my hood and forgot how those hoses run as far as how they attach to the hood,

The heater in my 1999 Eclipse is not heating when the car is sitting still but does heat as long as I am moving. I checked and it does have antifreeze. Could this just be as simple as a bad thermostat?

the heat could very well be the thermostat, ill look into other possibilities. As far as the hood pic, itll have to be tomorrow. but the lines go behind the lower sheet metal, with an elbow to hold the nozzle upright

 

Thanks, I think I will go ahead and replace the thermostat since it is cheap and easy to do. I got the part where the lines come out of the sheet metal under the hood but it's the way they run from there to the pump and how they are secured in the clips that has thrown me off. A picture would be greatly appreciated.

 

I was able to resolve my heating issue by replacing the thermostat. The thermostat fell apart when I took the housing off so no wonder it wasn't working!

I still need a picture of the windshield washer hoses and how they are connected to the hood. There are two or three clips that connect the hoses to the hood. I have them connected but it just doesn't see right. It seems like the hoses are too loose or have too much slack the way I have them connected. If someone could post a picture or two of the hood where the hoses are at I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!
