Default 01 Montero sport fried?

First hello to all members, Im a new montero sport owner and have a new problem. Wife driving truck and told me the radio binked but came back on. She parked it and went to start it again and nothing. She told me it was jumped but still would not start so im thinking alt or batt...no problem. so she buys a battery and my step father connects it backwards! when i finally get to the truck i found 3 fuses blown, a 30 amp fusible link and the 100 amp link blown. replaced all those and now the truck cranks but will not start. fuel pump relay seems good, getting ignition power from the switch to the distribution block to the ignition coils but still wont start. im lost and frustrated now im hearing a reading so many different things. the last 3 im stuck on is the crank position sensor, the inhibitor switch and the ecu. any one have any ideas at all? i dont want to have to take out a second mortgage to send it to the stealership.

Is it getting fuel? Spray starting fluid into intake see if it fires or tries too. If that doesn't work it's probably a no spark issue
