Default 03 Monty LTD rear wheel alignment issues

Hi all, I am getting ready to do a 2" OME lift and know I will need to realign after its installed but the stealer said my alignment "pins" on the rear are frozen up and will be a real pain in the butt to actually use them. He said this is a common problem on the Montero's. Does anybody have any experience with this? Thanks for the help!

Sorry, sn22, but there's nothing in my manual about alignment pins. Must be a newer feature on your '03 to add complexity where it wasn't needed Hope someone knowledgeable with your era's vehicle will chime in with some advice for you. All I can tell you is to put the weight on the vehicle on the ground before tightening your shocks to specs.

What size and brand of tires you going with?

Are they referring to the toe and camber bolts?

If there are no other shops willing to do it without complaining, you could always use a breaker bar to free it up the bolts at home. Then apply some anti-seize before you take it in for the alignment.
Good Luck

Yes, thats what they are referring to, the camber adjustment bolt, they say it gets all corroded and it should be taken out and neverseized when the car was new. I told them thanks for telling me that now! LOL..... Ill get some heat on it and see what I can do. Thanks for the help guys....
