Default 2001 Monty Ltd electrical issues

Last night,I found that the following were not working...

Dome lights
Auto door locks
radio/cd
Info display

Obviously, this is not one fuse. In fact,I checked the passenger and engine compartment bradio fuses and they were fine.

Help?

Tanks,

I am having the same problem! Took it to a dealership. They said a fuse was blown and that the radio was causing it? Funny thing is that it wasn't doing that until they ran diagnostic on the vehicle for another problem. If you find out the solution please let me know!

Electrical problems are a big PITA!!! The only way I have been to successfully correct any electrical issues on my TSI, is to methodically go through the wiring schematics. Mechanics usually do not like to troubleshoot electrical issues as the electrical systems are complicated, designed by EE’s and it just takes patience, sometimes a little luck and plenty of time. More time than most people are willing to pay someone to find something that is a gremlin.
