I have a 1994 Montero I bought brand new in Guam in 1994, it is a model below the LS. I love the truck; she has been very good to me. I just changed the altenator for the first time 2 weeks ago. The problem I am having is a terrible squeak when I turn the wheel or drive. I am thinking maybe the lower ball joint or something to do with the steering. I just need to know what to attack first. Also the speedo stopped working. I put a new sensor in at the transmission thinking it was the problem; still not working. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.
