The vehicle is making a grinding noise coming from the front of the motor?

Maybe the water pump has gone bad?

You got to be a little more specific. Take off individual pulleys and see if noise stops. That would isolate individual accessories. If noise persists with all accessories off, then it is something internal.

It could be any of the bearings in your front end. Do like Hunter suggested... or hell, record a video and post it to YouTube. Link it on here so we can check it out.
