1998 Montero rear view mirrow roof install

1998 Montero rear view mirrow roof install
What's up Montero owners? I'm new here but I'm sure I'll be browing here often. My 98 montero has over 95K miles on it and small issues have started creeping up.
My 4 y.o. son comes into the house the other day with my rear view mirror in his hands...
Son: "I'm sorry, dad."
Me: Arrrrg!!!
He didnt seem to break it so I unscrewed the 3 screws that the base appeared to be attached to on the roof of the truck. It looked like a very simple fix, but it wasn't. This is not an adhesive job.The mirrorwas attached just above the glass, to the roof of the car.
Does anyone know if Chilton or Haynes makes a manual for my year and model? I went to both websites and they have nothing listed for Monteros from 1996 to 2000 (why?).Where can I getthese instructions? Of course the original owner's manual that came with the car but thats of NO HELP.
