Question 2000 Monetro Sport radio DIN connector

Somebody took the radio out of the car and now I want to put it back in. There is a 12" cable with "DIN" connectors on both ends, one goes to the back of the radio, where does the other end plug in?

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same issue... can’t find the spot to plug it back in under the dash ANYWHERE!!

That cable is a short connector that goes between the radio and a longer DIN extension cable that runs under the carpet to the amplifier unit in the rear passenger side quarter panel.

This link has a diagram of this and talks about how to find the end of that extension cable. https://www.justanswer.com/mitsubish...t-ls-when.html

Hope this helps.
