I have been trying to remove the rear extension housing seal on my Montero Sport and I can't pull it out. It seems like it was pretty much welded to the housing because it would not even budge. Has anyone replaced this seal and if so, do you have any tips to remove it.
Never replaced that seal, but it would seem like you need to take a small chisel and bend one side of it away from the seating surface. Once that is accomplished, you'll be able to pull it out
