Hi, after i press the brake pedal and release it i hear a three second buzz or whine noise. I can hear it in the cabin and outside the vehicle. Sounds like it coming from the drivers side. Any guesses to what it is? Brake booster? Thanks!

 

Most likely brake booster accumulator. Second possibility - brake booster motor.

 

The ABS system is supposed to buzz when bleeding to refresh fluid?

I've owned the car for years and this is a new noise.
Any way to tell if it's accumulator or the motor?

 

If the noise occurs only when you press the pedal, most likely it's a bad accumulator. Replace that (easy job) and see if it goes away.
A bad motor would be buzzing all the time trying to build up boost pressure.
