Default 2001 montero sport inner tie rod end problem

I'm replacing 4 tie rod ends on my 2001 Montero Sport with Moog parts, the inner tie rod end does not work because the nut touches the center link therefore preventing it from turning all the way.
I already called Moog and told me the part, Moog ES3387RL is the correct one,
I proceeded to install the old part back until I find the correct one, If you have encountered a similar situation please let me know,
Thanks

Kinda hard to picture. There's only the castle nut or the locking nut. Any pics of the issue?

I had the same problem with my 2002 Montero Sport XLS 2WD. I used ES2245R. It has more of an arch for the proper clearance.

Does it matter if its 4wd? Running into this problem as well and I ordered the new part mentioned above. I cross referenced part numbers from dealer and still the ones from autozone didn't work. Part number MR296274 DID NOT work. Requires more clearance as it makes contact like said above. Luckily its a easy fix and I will post a followup this coming Tuesday.
