Here is a link to free manuals for the Montero. It's a Russian web site, but the manuals are in English. At least the ones I've used, I didn't check them all. Also, the Montero is also known as a Pajero in the rest of the world, so don't let that throw you off. The '98 Montero Sport manual was the 13th folder down. Pajero 4×4 Off-Road Club

I did my right side camshaft seal twice in one week as the first time I learned the hard way that you don't install it ALL the way in, just until the lip isn't visible any more on the head. It leaked worse after the first time than before I even started, so I knew I did something wrong, I looked at the mechanical drawings in the manual I printed off the web site and found I installed the seal too far in. Actually they recommend a special tool for installing it, but I don't have the time for the local dealership to order me a tool. Apparently there is a little taper to the camshaft and a groove and a oil passage, and I went past all of those. Anyhow, I also did my belt the first time and the second time I took pics of the whole process, so if anyboby wants I can post the process on this thread.
