2002 Montero XLS
I read all the post here on flashing 4x4 lights and need some help.
The 4x4 light on my 02 Montero XLS started to flash and then the front hub would try to engage by itself when the weather is cool. So I changed the front differential oil and disconnected the freewheel switch the blinking fron 4x4 lights went out. I drove it for two days and it did not try to engage itself now this morning it tried to engage itself again once and then didn't do it again on my 10 mile drive. Should I try disconnecting the vacuum lines to the actuator as a test ?
