2002 Monty Sport XLS runs like s&!t
Hey all. So here's the deal. Rebuilt engine. Got everything back together, and it ran great for 2-3 weeks. One day, son is driving and it dies. It is acting like the timing belt jumped. I pulled the front end, and found the timing spot on. Replaced the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, but no help. It will start with quite a bit of effort, then runs extremely rough at idle. I can get it to rev up and it stabilizes with a bit of a miss with RPM's above 12-1500, then back to rough idle and dies. The only code is P0300 random misfire. I have checked plugs and wires. I have made sure I have spark at all 6 coil connectors, and that all wires are plugged into the correct coil. Can I borrow some of your guys clues, because I am fresh out of my own!
