Thumbs up 2004 Montero compatible tweeter sizes?

I am planning on changing my stock tweeters, which size should I buy? 1 inch? 3/4? 1/2? Also, should I buy them with included crossover? I am guessing the car already has one right? Thanks!

there is enough space where the twetter is mounted that you can fit either.

Generally aftermarket tweeters already have a high pass filter/bass blocker built in. havn't seen one yet that doesnt. on top of that.

to answer if our cars already have one, im not sure. the front is setup like a component speaker system. with the mids on the door and highs int he tweeter. its controlled by the infinity amp. so there is a good chance it does have a built in xover built into the stock amp.

either way. as mentioned most aftermarket tweets will have a filter/xover/bassblocker built in.
