Default 2wd flashing orange.

Hi,
when ever driving my pajero 2004 on 2wd the transmission box in the middle of the dash board car graph starts flashing orange after 30 minutes of driving, but if driving on 4wd no issues?, what is the problem ,is it serious and need immediate fixing? thanks

When was the last time you serviced your fluids?
Have you hooked it up to see if it's throwing any codes?

Hi I did change the fluid just after getting this flashes but did not change the filter( if it is the fluid it should also flashes while on 4wd? am i right) but still the same,the computer found nothing

Vacuum valves are sticking, located under airfilter on the Montero... guessing same place on the Pajero, unless a diesel block means they've put them somewhere else. $80-90 and an hour will see you right.

Hi thanks a lot problem solved it was excatly what you said just cleaned the vaccume valve then no problem
