3.5 to 3.8 swap
How difficult is to swap a 3.8 Montero Engine in to a 03 Montero Sport with a 3.5?
I'm asking this because when my crankshaft pulley got loosed the crank bolt break causing a mayor repair.
Looking for a used crankshaft in a used part store they tall me it was easiest to put a complete engine but at the moment the only available was a 3.8, there are almost identical, just drop in job.
I did repair my original engine and is working fine?
Have somebody done this swap, are those 300 cc make some difference?

yea i would imagine it would be easier to do the swap on the 2001-2002 Montero (NOT SPORT), but the big speed bumpbs as mentioned on the CPU, i know the new engines are drive by wire right? no more throttle cable? please correct me if im wrong.
