Default 60,000 miles recommended things to change???

Hi

I am pretty new to the forum and glad that I found this source of informationon the net. Here is my case, I bought a 2003 Montero Ltd not too long ago and it doesn't have the owners manual, I haven't been lucky enough to find one on ebay the few times that I have looked. In any case my Montero has reached the 60,000 mile milestone and I know that the timing belt is one of those things that need to be changedat this time and there are other things that they recommend to bereplaced at this time too but since I don't have the manual don't really know the whole line up of things to be done at this moment. I would appreciate any help in regard to this, I've got a long trip scheduled forthe next weekend and I would like to have this done before then.

Thanks

Transmission and differential fluid.

Timing belt, tensioner, water pump.

Thats the major part. You can change plugs and wires too.

Budget $700-800 for the mitsu genuine parts (online) if you do it yourself and do the entire recommended 60k service incl iridium plugs and wires, plenum gaskets, etc...

Are iridiums necessary? Probably not, but for the difference in cost, its worth it to me to have the most reliable, consistent and longest lasting plug I can install. You do have to disassemble the intake plenum and other parts just to get to the plugs on that motor....Not a 10 min job.
