Looking for an original idle air control valve for a 1st gen montero. Mine had a high idle so i replaced it with a new remanufactured one that’s slightly different than original but it still bolts in and now the idle got worse.

 

Do you mean the idle speed control servo or the Mass Air Flow sensor? I replaced my idle speed controller (I had low idle and stalling, see this thread:
https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mi...sfiring-57572/ ) but it wasn't the problem. Eventually, after replacing just about every electrical component, the problem turned out to be the Mass Air Flow sensor. Got one (original Mitsubishi, part number MD118127) from ebay, seller jt17-7397.
