One more question I have on my new purchase.......My stock stereo doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. It worked driving it home and after that I couldn't tell ya. It's stock and its a k579. I turned it on and I can't figure it out from there. Is there a manual on line that I can find? Anyone know anything about these???

 

Just buy a new stereo. Easier than trying to troubleshoot an obsolete unit that can't even play burned discs (if it even has a optical drive) and if so not play mp3s

You see how scarce information is for the Montero's, ive been feeding the community with information and DIY stuff because of the lack of it-- you won't find any manual on it, the effort and time to find one and to fix that stock stuff cost more than a much nicer aftermarket unit.
