97 m sport dont start
Hi, got an 97 montero sport, the problem got no signal in the coil, the spark plugs cables are ok they got current, may be the computer or the module, any help!!!!!!!
Wow, your Montero sure has a pointy nose!
Welcome to the forums, Eric. Check your coil's secondary resistance, i.e. one lead where the current goes in and one where the current goes out — you should get 12.1 ohms. any more and your coil is bad. Also check the primary resistance, between the two little metal connectors where the current goes into the coil on the low voltage side — there you should be reading between 0.72 ~ 0.88 ohms resistance.
Do that and let us know what you get, and try not to drop anything overboard
