I've searched every website through out and still can not find out where the stock 8 speaker infinity amp location is. My front speakers will play but the rear channel is messed up, no sound will come out from either rear speaker. So i need to check the amp and replace if necessary, But cannot find it! I've taken the rear right panel off completely and didn't see anything. Please help ! Thank you!

 

have you tried pushing lightly on the rear speaker voice cones ??? i just went tru this the speakers were blown

 

Brand new speakers just purchased today, Tested both and nothing. Front of the montero sounds awesome, but the rear is completely dead. I've tried tracing the wiring to find the amp but i get lost, theres to many wires.

 

you did the bal and fade on the radio controls ???

 

Yes when turned to the rear nothing plays. The cars battery keeps draining mysteriously as well, Started the same time the speakers quit. I think either the amps shorted out, or the radio is crap and done for. I just need to find out where the amp is!

 

FOUND IT! Its underneath The middle row Passenger side SEAT! You have to take the seat all the way out, And right under it there will be 12 screws to take out revealing the small infinity amp !
