OBD code P0421 on my 1999 full size Montero is confirmed by dealer to be due to a bad right front catalytic converter. Mitsu partscost is around $650. I'm wondering if anyone has had this unit replaced with an aftermarket unit (a good dealof cutting a welding required).

Also, any good or bad experience with Mac Auto Parts procudts?ThiseBay linkisfor an "OEM Style" replacement part for much less, but it's not a Mitsu part.
