ok, I have a montero sport that had a JVC Kd G820 radio in it. the radio is not working and I am putting aLpine in myself. whoever put the JVC in spliced rca connectors for the speaker conections. the wiring harness under the dash doesnt color match with the schematic. how do I figure out what color is what speaker? on another note, if I wanted to rewire everything, how do you wire all the speakers together? I have never worked with more than 4 in car stereo before. i think this one has 8 speakers and a tweater. Please help

 

My bad it has 6 speakers and 2 tweaters... 2 in the dash and one in each door. How do you wire them to a stereo?

 

I just purchased a 99 Montero Sport and am having the same problem. The guy I bought it from installed a Kenwood KDC-MP228. I have no idea what it is (am downloading manual for it now) and it doesn't work. Not to mention the speakers worked on the ride home but not anymore on the radio. Am wanting to replace it all but don't know where to start. Any ideas?
