AC Wiring to Interior Controls
I recently bought a 2003 Montero Sport that the previous owner had AC issues with. My last 03 Montero I had never had any problems with the AC so I'm not familiar with the set up of the wiring, compressor, or relay. It looks like the previous owner, when repairing the AC, wasn't either, and instead of just hooking it all back up to the factory AC button above the stereo, installed a completely different switch (obviously not for a car) on the left side of the steering wheel in the plastic of the dash. Because of this, the AC was not working correctly and working too hard, causing the AC belt to snap, which then made the power steering belt snap. I replaced the belts and recharged the AC, but it is still overworking itself because of how the AC is all DIY rigged in some way I couldn't have even imagined. I don't want the belt to break again because of this, so how do I rewire the AC to the stock button above the stereo?
Please help!
