Well...I finally had the bolt removed by a pro. Just $32.16. Took it to Rivers Total Car Care in Oak Ridge, Tn. Same day turn around. Great service. I had tried the dremmel slotting idea first and no luck.

Usually the Dreamel won't work like that for that type of bolt but it was worth the try. Glad you got it up and running. Awesome that you stuck with it and accomplished it bud.

Some of you may find this useful: If you have access to a MIG welder, you can weld a nut to the bolt that is broken off near the surface or above the surface of the hub. I just recently had to remove a lug bolt that was broken flush with the hub on a piece of heavy machinery. We tried to drill the bolt out in order to use an EazyOut. That didn't work at all -the bolt was made from hardened steel and the drill bit didn't even made a dent in it. I positioned a regular nut over the bolt and welded them together (on the inside of the nut). After things cooled off, the nut and bolt just unscrewed out together without any difficulty. I know it only works if you have access to a welder, but its good to know that it is possible to do so.

Awesome Hunter, I have done that with a tractor I was working on and it worked like a champ. I think the heat also played a part cause when I put the socket on it to apply pressure it practically fell off... lol
