Transmission is shifting good ,as long as I put in park before I put in reverse it shifts ok.i got code po740 clutch solenoide.what I was wondering was can I replace the torque converter and it be ok? Would appreciate any response. Thank you jtopsnook01

 

I think you need to check the TC lock solenoid first. Unfortunately it is mounted inside the transmission. That means you have to drain all the fluid and get the pan and filter out before you get get to it.
