Default Brake Pad Recommendations

I am looking for an upgrade in pads for my 02 limited Montero and am looking at EBC 7000 SUV series and Satisfied Pro Ceramic. Does anyone have any experience with these or have any other advice? She just doesn't stop quite as well as I would like. Thanks.

UPDATE: I decided to go with the Satisfied Pro Ceramic for the front and rear and after I put a few miles I will give my opinion as opposed to the stock pads. Hopefully it will be a help to those who have the same vehicle and are looking to upgrade. Appearently not a going concern as there were no replies when I asked this question myself.[sm=icon_blah.gif]

Sorry FireDoc, didn't catch this post. I did upgrade my rear pads to NAPA's ceramic. Can't find the receipt so I can't give the part number. I remember they were supposed to run cooler. Since I turned one rotor I thought I'd better run as cool as possible. So far so good. Very quiet.

Found my receipt. NAPA # CMX-7447, ceramic pads. Purchased for rear brakes 11/04.
Cost - $63.68 includes 7% sales tax. FYI

Thanks for the reply. I have been at work the past 4 days so I have not had a chance to drive anywhere yet. I'll post again on thursday.

I have now been running Ceramics for 4 months. These pads (Satisfied pro) have been great. After 1 or 2 stops these really bite well. I pull a 3000 pound bayliner with trailer and while it is of course a chore to go from 75 to nil in a short distance but if is FAR beter than the stock brakes it came with. There is almost no brake dust and are absolutely silent. It is now between 20 and 35 degrees here in alaska and I will give another update when we hit bottom sometime in January.(-50 or so) That should be interesting. At least I don't have to worry about pulling the boat.[&o]

Thanks for the info on the Satisfied Pro pads. Where did you get them and how much did they cost?

I bought them at M and O Schucks (I think Checker owns them), But you can get them at www.tirerack.com if you can't find them anywhere else.
