break light is on
my break light has been on for a while now, and no my hand break is not on.
it started out whenever the weather was cold my break light would come on, but as of recently it has been on for a good month even though its hot.
so does anyone have an idea of whats wrong.

If you're break light is on, maybe it's time to take a break. Sorry, couldn't resist.
Seriously, Mike, anything with the brakes you don't want to mess with. If Sebba's tip doesn't give you joy another obvious place to look is at your pads. There's a chance that they could be at their wear limit. There's a slot at the caliper where you can see the braking pad and whether or not you've got any left.
How is the beast behaving in the corners and when stopping? Everything feel normal or not? Any squeaking sounds?

sebba - i checked the break fluid and its at a good level.
mothman i haven't yet checked the pads yet but my car does squeak when i first start it up but once the breaks get warmed up it stops squeaking. Cornering and stopping are all the same.

Mike,
Check those pads and even if your fluid is up to where it should be, if there's the slightest doubt as to its age — change it. Might want to check the contacts/resistance of sensor per fresnodb's suggestion...
