Default A/C Compressor Stalling

I'm a new owner of a 2001 Montero Sport and this freaking hot summer has me sweating.

I have gone through 3 A/C belts in the past couple weeks.

The A/C seems to run fine at idle and low rpms. But when it gets over 2500 rpm it acts like the compressor is locking up and the belt squeals/burns and eventually snaps.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Could it be over charged?
Could the expansion valve be failing?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

My solution has been to replace the belts or only drive it in the winter. I have decided its the orifice, and I plan to replace it.

below is a video of while I had gauges on it. ignore my verbal diarrhea, I didn't know what I was talking about.

I have not checked the pressures, but I did try a Gates belt. And so far so good, it's holding up. It's thicker than the Autozone belts I was breaking with much regularity.

So my suggestion is spend the $18 on a Gates belt the first time.

When I put on my gauges it spit oil at me. This compressor doesn't have a drain. I let the high side spray until it stopped spraying. The recharged 134a slowly. I dont know how much oil it has. All I know, it's not too much. I was ready with parts to change the orifice. Not now.

Well I think I have mine fixed had to put a expansion valve on mine.
55 to 58 degree vent at idle and 102 outside air I can live with that.
