Where is the access to the blower on a Montero LTD ? Mine is making noise like bearing going bad, or maybe trash has gotten thru to the blower..

 

I'm assuming it's basically the same as my '99 - above the passenger foot well. The "ceiling" of the footwell should be made up of a plastic air plenum that is attached to the firewall and center console with push-pin type plastic inserts. Once you remove this plenum the bottom of the fan motor housing is right there. Unplug the connectors, remove the 3 screws and it will fall into your hands. (hopefull along with the offending leaves)
