Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default Can anyone help?

Hello,
I have just bought a 2019 Montero Sport from a car lot. It is new but have been in the dealership for a few years I assume.
So, as it is new with zero km, should I service it before driving it considering that it has been sitting for a while. Are the fluids Ok.
Also, is it an interference or non-interference engine. It has the 6B31 engine, 3.0L V6.
Thanks

If it is brand new with zero km on it, you should check with the dealer to ensure it has all proper (new) fluids in it. If they say all is fine - don't worry. Your vehicle should have warranty. If something breaks - dealer will have to fix it at their expense. The engine is most likely interference type. Hardly any new engines are non-interference types. Whether it is or not, makes no difference. Follow recommended service schedule and you will be fine.
