I recently did a rebuild on my 98 sport. I have no ideal how the second cable hooks up to the throttle mechanism, and if it is even for cruise or shifter. The throttle cable connects perfect but the second cable is way to loose. Almost like the spring got turned around or the cable should go underneath to attach but the guide will only allow from the top? Anyone familiar with this?
