Default Dash light issue became more complex

Okay, I had my instrument cluster out to replace bulbs and fix the notorious temp gauge. I fixed the temp gauge and put it back in without the screws while I found some bulbs. I ended picking a few up at the salvage yard, so my rear wheels are illuminated on the dash again. But I noticed my CEL was no longer on.

I checked the codes and it should have been on. I cleared the codes, pulled the cluster and re-installed it again. No CEL. I disassembled the cluster thinking the bulb went out. It is soldered in and did not appear to be bad. When I first turn ignition to on, the CEL doesn't come on and there are a couple indicators to the left of it I felt should be on also that are not at that time. I can't see any problems on the leads where they press against connectors. Anyone else have similar issues anytime?

I had the same problem yesterday when i replaced the D light bulb on the dash and when i put the dash back in, the rear wheels, R, P and transfer case lights failed to turn on, so i double checked the light bulbs and were good.

So took took the dash out again and again to make sure it was making contact with the electrical plugs, so now the only one the failed to work was the N light bulb, i have no idea what the problem is.

If you take the instrument cluster out too many times, the plugs on the back (the ones from the vehicle side) tent to come out from their holders. If that happens, the pins may not align correctly and the signal will not be getting through to the instrument cluster. Pull the cluster out again and check to make sure the plugs inside the dashboard are sitting properly in their spaces and did not move or popped out or moved. I sincerely hope that it is all and not something more serious.
