Greetings to my friends. My cousin asked me to look into this. Her daughter has a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero and has the problem with the "check engine" light coming on and would pull the car over, restart, light would go off and away she would go. Recently, the light prevailed and she ended up taking it to the dealer who told her that there is a problem with the Daughter Board and they would have to send it to the factory and she is getting prepped for what might be a $1000 dollar bill. Anybody ever hear of a Daughter Board.?
