Door mirror
The passenger ride door mirror housing on my 2000 Pajero seems to have a broken fixing point, which causes the housing to vibrate when driving on the freeway. A slight touch also causes the mirror to fold forward or backward.
There is nothing wrong with the mirror itself, the power motor or the chrome housing. Can the housing be taken apart and mounting point fixed? I was told the entire mirror assembly has to be replaced at a cost of $400 with labor, and the last time I checked, my mirror ain't made of gold.[:-] Thanks!
