Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

EGR Insufficient Circulation.

2003 Montero Sport, 165k Miles. 3.5L.

Any ideas? The EGR valve was recently changed as was the solenoid. I'm guessing it's the DPFE or the EGR pipe (to the mani). Is this something anyone else has dealt with before? Any advice? It runs fine....

I haven't located the DPFE yet. Is it hard to access? Hard to R&R? The pipe that connects the valve to the manifold looks tough to get to. Any tips?

Thanks in advance!

Just because the EGR valve and solenoid were replaced, it doesn't mean they couldn't be the cause of the code. It is easy to test them both to make sure they work (or don't) that will give you a further direction to follow.
As far as the ERG pipe to manifold - make sure the engine is cold when you work on it
