How do you tell if the Montero has the the 3.0 or 3.5 engine? The owner's manual tells you to look for the "stamp" on the engine block and give you a couple of pictures for reference but when I look at the engine, all I see is engine, no stamp. Thanks!

 

There's a tag on the firewall. If the engine code is 6G72, it's a 3.0L. If it's 6G74, it's a 3.5L.
