Default EGR Temp sensor switch 3.5 dohc 24v 1996

Hi Folks, Newbee here!
My question reguardsa 1996 Montero SR. 145,000 miles. I had a new timing belt & plugs/wires recevtly installed by a (friend of a friend). When I got it back I discovered that the "Temp.Sensor Switch" under the EGR vaulve was not plugged in (electrical) and I can not find anywhere to plug it in to?
The ( friend of a friend ) claims it was not plugged in when he did the repairs. I pulled the upper intake off and still can not see anywhere to plug it. Any help / advise will be greatly appricaited!

Thanks John
