Default Engine Coolant plug

Taking out the radiator in my 1995 Montero (3.5L DOHC) and I can not find the engine coolant plug. Can anyone help? Pics?

Are you asking about a drain plug in the block or just the main drain for the radiator? If it's the latter it's at the bottom driver's corner of the rad pointing towards the rear. Should have a short, clear plastic drain hose attached pointing down thru the skid plate.

They are tough to find. My factory service manual didn't mention the fact there was two of them, let alone illustrate where they were.

The passenger side plug is on the rear of the block, about 6" under the exhaust manifold. I was able to use an 18" extension from just the inside and to the rear of the front right wheel. The drivers side plug is toward the front again, just under the manifold, and looks more like a bolt than a plug. But, with all the a/c hoses brake lines and dipsticks in the way, I said "f-that" and just put a T-connector on the heater core input hose to flush the system

Although mine's a 2003 3.8, I don't expect the block to be much different.

youre probably not gonna be able to get it out, anyway. it will most likely be corroded in solidly, and you will ruin it trying to remove it.

Does anyone know where the coolant plug for the 2007 Outlander is located?
