found unplugged in engine compartment...know what it is?

found unplugged in engine compartment...know what it is?
When Facing engine from the grille end:
If you look to your left you can see the PS fluid fill cap.There are 2- electrical connectors to the left of the PS fill cap.and attached to the fender wall. Of those 2 plug conectors,its the one nearest the front is disconnected. What is its function?
