were is the fuel pump relay located on a 2002 montero sport

in the fuse block under the hood. why?? they dont go bad.

put new fuel pump in still wont start sounds like it wants to start will start run for bout 2 seconds then die

not a fuel problem then. timing belt could have jumped, cam sensor could be bad, or your ignition key could be the culprit. i see that alot. you ignition key has a computor chip in it and it has to be programed to the vehicle. sometimes the key loses its program, and has to be programed again. is the green light on your dash blinking when you have the key on?? did you lose the key and have it replaced with a regular non chip key?? it wont start without that computor chip key.

gonna have to et the vehicle scaned for codes. then go from there
