HBB on 2004 Montero not working
I recently had the brake/traction control lights on the dash stay on and the warning noise from under the dash before my brakes went out on my 2004 Montero. I replaced the accumulator but it still isn't working. When I turn on the ignition, I can hear the relays click on the hydraulic brake booster then click again after a few seconds. I'm assuming this is trying to activate the HBB but can't. I'm wondering if there is a way to check the HBB before I buy a new one. Any help would be great.
