Default Hello from a new guy, and a question

Hi all,

I am currently in the hunt for my first Montero. I was completely unaware of the 1st Gen until two weeks ago, and now I have to find one. I have a lead on two different ones (both 91 models), and I was wondering what issues should I be looking out for on these? Both have between 135k and 145k on them.

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm really looking forward to being a Montero owner very soon!

Hi, you could read some reviews from owners of 91 Montero. Good luck with your search

Thanks for your response. I have looked those over already. Just wondering if there's anything else I should be looking for.

I took one for a drive today, and it is in pretty good shape. Could use a tune up, but otherwise seems to be going strong. I pick it up on Thursday when I return from a work trip. I'm stoked.

Thanks again for your help. I'll be around!
