I used 5 30..Valve ticking doesnt stop until i turn it off...It doesnt change...Would old spark plug wires or coils make it run bad?

It is possible that you have a bad VLA. First thing to try -is bleed procedure. Sounds like you know how to do it. Make sure you warm up the engine to operating temp, then repeat bleed procedure 20-30 times. I think FSM says to do this several times. If sound does not chance - replace bad VLA.
Having a bad plug or wire would definitely make it run bad, but I don't think it will "tick" because if that, plus you'll have Check Engine light ON.

Sorry to come so late to the party! I put all new VLAs into my 95 last summer. The new design has a much larger oil hole in the tip to prevent the clogging problem. I found the best deal on Partsology.com, about a hundred bucks for a set of 24 and free shipping.

You daid it wasnt running right though, besides the valve tick?
