I desperately need any advice as to how to reset the anti-theft alarm and get my 1998 Montero
re-started after I unhooked my car battery like a damned fool! Now, I can’t get the alarm horn to silence and the truck to start. All the videos on YouTube are for new Monteros or Pajeros. My ‘98 is dead as a door **** and I’m desperate for help! When I re-hook the battery cables the alarm horn starts to blare and I can’t get the truck to start so I’m forced to keep the cables off the battery until I figure this out. Please advise if anyone has any insight as to what to do. Thanks!
